I have always loved to explore new places, so it only makes sense that my passion for landscape & travel photography developed long before my love for portraiture. Tolkien once said that "not all those who wander are lost," but for me, you can pretty much always assume that that is not the case. My love for exploration along with my terrible sense of direction means that I get lost. Frequently. However, so many of my favorite stories -- and the accompanying photographs that tell a story all their own -- are from when I simply trying to get somewhere else.
